School Closed: Vandalism

To our students and families: 2020 has been very challenging for our school so far. Last Thursday, a broken water main flooded much of our main floor, leaving us only the upstairs to operate. We were able to recover a lot of our capacity and had a good week pulling together making the best of things. Today, however, we are sad to share that the school has been badly vandalized over the weekend and must be closed temporarily. Police are investigating and we are working to repair what has been damaged. We will reopen as soon as possible and ask that students and families watch our website at www.bsec.ab.ca , our Facebook page and our Facebook stories for updates as they become available. Please note that we will reach out to students who are registered to write diploma exams this week with information about when and where they will write.

We know this comes as a shock to all of you. We will open again as soon as possible and thank you for your patience as we get back on our feet as a school and as a community.
